Collistar Pure Actives Hyaluronic Acid + Ceramides Aquagel contains Hyaluronic Acid of four different molecular weights to help deliver intense hydration to the skin. The Hyaluronic Acid used is a special combination of four different molecular weights: 1. high, which forms a protective film on the skins surface reducing natural water loss; 2. high-medium, which traps water on the skins surface and nourishes the stratum corneum; 3. medium-low, which supplies hydration and repairs damage to the stratum corneum; and 4. low, which penetrates the skin deep-down and moisturizes and repairs it from inside. The cream is enriched with Ceramides, lipids essential for a correctly functioning, healthy epidermal barrier, to retain moisture in the skin and prevent it from evaporating. In addition, Inulin, a natural prebiotic, is added to help preserve the skins microbiome and help the epidermal barrier function correctly.
